Porcelain Jewelry

Each piece of Cockeyed Designs Jewelry is handcrafted without the use of molds or industrial manufacturing processes. Consequently, there may be subtle, barely perceptible variations between pieces; while they are remarkably similar, no two are exactly alike.

Cockeyed Designs Jewelry pieces are crafted from high-quality porcelain and glazed for enhanced durability. They are resistant to breakage from manual pressure and typically withstand accidental drops without damage. However, please note that depending on the surface, the jewelry may still break if dropped or subjected to a heavy impact. Additionally, the durability of the gold finish may be compromised by deep scratches or the use of harsh soaps. We recommend cleaning your jewelry only with a damp cloth.

Although we use the world's strongest jewelry adhesive to attach findings to the porcelain, there is still a risk of detachment if the piece is subjected to significant angled force. Please do not attempt to bend or adjust the findings, as this may cause the jewelry to come apart. Should this occur, the piece can be quickly and safely repaired using standard super glue available at most supermarkets. Alternatively, if the item is still within the return period, please contact customer service for assistance.

Chains & Metal Components

To maintain your jewelry in optimal condition and prevent premature aging, please note that the chains and metal components used by Cockeyed Designs Jewelry are gold-plated. Like all jewelry components, they may fade or tarnish over time.

Exposure to saltwater, sea air, harsh soaps, and products containing sulfur or alcohol can cause your jewelry to lose its luster. Therefore, Cockeyed Designs Jewelry recommends removing your jewelry before bathing or applying perfume. Avoid exposing gold-plated jewelry to household products, perfumes, or saltwater, as these can accelerate discoloration. Additionally, please be aware that your skin's pH level can also affect the condition of gold-plated jewelry.
